If there is no problem with the bearing itself, the bearing design service life of this structure can reach more than 200,000 kilometers, so the bearing of this structure should not be maintained and replaced if it is damaged. In fact, for the bearings of automotive parts, we do not need to maintain the bearings of domestic cars and automotive parts, because for our family cars, its bearing load is not very large, and because of the improvement of bearing design technology, our family car bearings can be designed as maintenance-free bearings.

But we also have bearings for car parts that need to be maintained, such as our pickup trucks and a small number of heavy off-road vehicles. The type of bearings they use is bearings that need to be maintained.
This kind of bearing needs to be repaired and oiled. It is usually installed on our heavy vehicles and can bear more load. But in order to ensure its service life, it needs to be maintained every tens of thousands of kilometers. Generally, it needs to be disassembled and cleaned, and then re-greased to ensure the lubrication and heat dissipation of bearings under high load.
So as a friend, why do some bearings need not be maintained?
In fact, because of this kind of bearing, its design concept is different. His design goal is to design bearings as maintenance-free automotive parts. And our family car usually does not have a large load, so the normal family car used down, in the 100,000 to 200,000 kilometers, may change the bearings of auto parts.
The last oil seal will also be used on the bearings of our auto parts.
Our maintenance-free automotive parts bearing is equivalent to forming an assembly. It contains lubricating oil and bearings with exceptionally high strength. Seal the lubricating oil in the whole bearing body with our oil seals. When we drive, the lubricating oil will lubricate our bearing body. And our kind of bearings, its design is very precise, because in order to prevent the oil from flowing out, so if you want to maintain it, it will be very difficult, but also affect the sealing of our entire bearing body!
 
So we do not need to maintain the bearings here, using about 100,000 kilometers can be directly replaced, and the price is not expensive! Dozens of yuan to about two or three hundred yuan!
Nowadays, the bearings of automotive parts do not need to be maintained. Because the bearing is made of steel parts through processing and forming through quenching process, so that the outer surface of a metal film is very hard and wear-resistant.
There are many kinds of bearings used in automobile parts, such as conical, cylindrical and spherical. The categories of 1, 2, 3, 4 that start with numbers are different. That's too complicated. It's very simple for professionals. Therefore, I can only tell you that the bearings have oil seals on both sides, oil seals on one side, and clamp spring grooves and so on.
Bearings of automobile parts are mainly lubricated by engine oil (such as crankshaft bearings), butter lubrication (front wheel bearings), gear oil (transmission and rear axle inner bearings). The rear wheels are lubricated with butter or gear oil.
After the bearing is lubricated, it will reduce friction and temperature. Generally speaking, it is no problem to drive 200,000 kilometers. Therefore, general vehicles do not need to maintain bearings.
But there are several parts to note, the engine belt tension, front and rear wheel bearings, due to long-term high-speed operation, especially by environmental factors and damage.
In fact, no maintenance does not mean that it will not be bad. Any metal has fatigue. Especially when the quality of lubricating oil decreases or decreases, the bearing surface will be ablated and damaged.
At present, most of the internal and external oil seals of vehicle bearings are protected by iron sheet, which is not easy to leak oil. Once damaged, the bearing components will be replaced.
In short, when driving, we should pay attention to some abnormal conditions of the vehicle, such as wheel shaking, noise and so on, we should pay attention to the bearing.
