Considering the design of one-way bearings from the safety point of view, one-way bearings are used in many occasions. In order to ensure that one-way bearings can also operate in a safe and stable state, some aspects have to be considered, such as its load, conversion accuracy, friction moment and bearing seat design, etc.
In order not to overload the bearing of the one-way needle-roller clutch, the inertia of the whole system must be taken into account, and the accuracy of the conversion depends on the vertical spring load that each needle bears to ensure continuous contact between the shaft, needle-roller and slope locking surface.
For one-way bearings, the conversion accuracy depends on conversion frequency, lubrication, matching tolerance, peripheral structure, elastic deformation of adjacent parts and driving mode, so the ideal accuracy can be obtained by shaft driving.
The rigid bearing seat is required to transfer the moment. Therefore, the transmitted moment is related to the material of the shaft and the bearing seat, the hardness of the shaft, the wall thickness of the bearing seat and the tolerance of the shaft and the bearing seat. Attention must be paid to the driving moment and the mass inertia moment of acceleration when calculating the moment.
When the one-way bearing is idle, its friction energy consumption depends on whether the axis is rotating or the outer ring is rotating. If the outer ring is rotating, the friction energy consumption will first increase with the increase of speed, but it will gradually decrease due to the centrifugal force of the needle roller. At this speed, there is no friction contact between the needle and the shaft, and with the increase of centrifugal force, the needle is separated from the shaft.
Since the accuracy of the positioning hole of one-way bearing fundamentally determines the geometric accuracy of the stamping outer ring and the function of the clutch, the chamfer of the bearing seat hole must be machined to 15-deg;, in order to meet the requirements.
